Yeah, I played WoW for 3 months but it got so boring after a while I just couldn't even bare to log on anymore. I haven't played guildwars yet but I preordered it. Could any of you all tell me if this MMORPG has forced grouping. WoW doesn't force you to group is why I liked it so much. I mostly wanted a MMORPG that doesn't charge monthly is why I chose Guild Wars.

I've got a 59 Priest, and that's A LOT of time. I hate the game at this level now, so I'm quitting and donating my accound to my guild. It just...well, there's nothing to do at level 59! It was fun tho until this point, and I'll say that WoW is one of the better MMOs around.

I left behind a level 60 paladin and a 58 shaman, it was fun and all until i didnt have time for the higher instances. So today i went and bought Guildwars.

I am still a little worried about how the support will be with no monthly fee

i played wow for about a month, i like this game more but havent played wither enough to really say too much

I played my first MMORPG called DoC. Boring. The graphics and the general structure seemed like something I would cobble together and loose interest. I haven't played online other than GW since I was booted for being good in Legends of Might and Magic (hi-res, DSL, and unlimited range led to good range fighting). It was fun while it lasted. I played the 2nd BWE of GW and had a good time for the 45 minuted I got to play despite not seeing land or leveling up. It was just fun.

My game playing shedule looks like this: GW - Dungeon Lords - GW - DDO and if DDO isn't fun, the probably back to GW. Of course, Gothic III is on the horizon along with Spellforce 2, Morrowind IV, and AOE III mix that with my playing with UT map making and I don't have a lot of time to tattoo any game names on myself. Of course I prefer to beat a game and then go find the next one.

From what I've heard from the WoW folks is that GW plays about the same combat-wise (aside from some naming conventions and other tweakage) but due to instance dungeons the gack threat has been eliminated, and due to instant transport the vast amount of time spent doing menial tasks has been greatly reduced.

Cancelled wow maybe 1 month after playing it...sorry i didnt find that game that enjoyable at all.

I added one more month to my WoW account to make a final ode to WoW, yesterday. It's all Guild Wars from here on out... The instances were cool, and all, but took wayyyy too long. The pvp now is just a bunch of level 60 groups smashing everyone, so the pvp is definitely not fun anymore, especially because of the honor system.

So to answer the topic question... I am leaving WoW for GW.

I loved wow, still love wow. Great game, I like that whole warcraft thing they have...

But yeah, that honor patch set me up, and a freind of mine yanked the rug out from under me with a gameplay movie. =P
